About The Taormina Group

Tom Taormina brings a unique history and expansive experience to rapidly analyzing problems, diagnosing solutions and working with businesses to achieve measurable improvements in their key success indicators. As a 14-year member of NASA’s Mission Control Team, he heard the words “Houston, we have a problem” first hand and was a member of the Apollo 13 recovery team. Over four decades, he has also performed quality audits, lead process improvement initiatives, and performed product liability investigations at nearly 600 companies.

As an accomplished author, Foreseeable Risk is his eleventh book. It shares extensive experiential data with enlightened litigators for dominating the outcome of products liability and organizational negligence litigation.

Tom is the founder of The Taormina Group. His partner and CEO, Grady Ferguson, also worked at Mission Control Houston, but went on to found, grow, and sell two manufacturing and service companies that modeled excellence and risk avoidance. They are the creators of Forensic Business Pathology®, a new secret weapon for litigation concerning products liability and organizational negligence, and for deconstructing liability in manufacturing and service companies.

The Taormina Group presents a unique resource of proverbial “rocket scientists” to offer strategic and tactical solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems, like bringing the Apollo 13 astronauts home from almost-certain disaster.
